Early Learning Center Nutrition Program

The Early Learning Center participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program, and offers a nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack daily, free of charge. We do not serve any processed foods or juices. Monthly menu outlines are posted on our website prior to the beginning of each month.

Children experiencing food allergies or sensitivities to those outlined on the menu, or those children that adhere to strict diets, may bring alternative foods for meal time consumption from home. The Early Learning Center staff provides milk for the breakfast and lunch meals, and can store milk alternatives at the program. As participants of the CACFP, we encourage families to allow us to provide substitute food alternatives, when applicable to a specific child’s dietary needs.

Learning Center Preschool

Breakfast

Most of our students eat breakfast prior to arriving at school. However, children may bring in their own breakfast items.

Lunch

Families are asked to support children in packing a healthy, daily lunch. The Early Learning Center food program has introduced us to a variety of foods, and now at preschool, we to hope continue seeing our children making the same healthy food decisions. Any candy, soda, or gum will be reserved for consumption at home.


Afternoon Snack

Children may revisit their lunch items for afternoon snack.
